how i burn and how i earn,
in poetic realms.
oh words! i look for you in my abraded dreams,
for you it is I speak in this hour...
my mind soars o'er landless oceans,
though sunken with agoraphobic delusions.
how have you forsaken me?
for all I know is; my pen's drunken levity
how angry are you? and why is this wish,
you thrust upon me,that hurts you and dares you...
let me rest on your trembling shoulders oh words!
for you have raided my frivolity
how my monologue strays with your emptiness,
and how i sulk in this wordless mire,
under me and over me lies your dreamy sonnet,
but with me, just a decadent soliloquy..
come to me oh words!, for the moon has all but set
the sun will bring new sorrows,
as I'll sleep through its mundane obscurity
waiting for another night, that of a soldier's delight,
and of a poet's might......
